The M Series Temperature sensor provides accurate and dependable temperature readings from almost any location. Battery-operated (2 AA Batteries) allows it to be placed inside refrigerators or freezers without breaking the coolers' seals.

The radio transmitter is our high-performance RF transceiver, which transmits the temperature readings over 30M (in open area) to our  IoT Gateway receiver using optional 128-bit AES encryption.

All sensors are our next-generation sensor that supports either the older 2-character ID (RF2) or the newer RF4 or 4-character ID. Have an improved battery performance. Based on our calculations, the sensor is expected to last approximately 12 months on a pair of AA batteries (Included), with updates transmitted at a 5-minute interval (confirmed through testing).

Technical Specs:

  • A battery monitor to keep track of power consumption.
  • AA Housing with On/Off Switch
  • Our Sensor uses the DS18B20 for high accuracy and repeatability.
  • The DS18B20 temperature sensor is used to detect the temperature. It measures temperatures from -55°C to +125°C. Fahrenheit equivalent is -67°F to +257°F, ±0.5°C accuracy from -10°C to +85°C
  • All devices are based on the high-performance RF transceiver based on the market-leading CC1100 SOC.
  • Wide operating voltage range of 2-3.6V makes the devices suited for battery power.
  • Current consumption: RX: 16.2 mA , TX: 15.2 mA. Deep Sleep: 0.005Ma (0.5 µA).
  • Up to 1KM line of sight. Short-range (30M) penetration of walls and floors.
  • 128-bit AES encryption security.
  • Driverless installation.
  • All the devices are highly configurable through the serial port or over the air using the LLAP messaging protocol specified in the manual.
  • Configured to transmit a temperature reading every 5 minutes (configurable from 15 seconds to 30 minutes).
  • Base station communicates through serial port (TTL UART).
  • Communicates in ASCII clear text, making it very easy to exchange data between devices over the air.
  • A virtually unlimited number of devices can be deployed. 99,999 Personal Area Network ID’s, 10 channels per frequency and 4,000 RF2 or 15M RF4 Device ID’s per network.
  • Super low power consumption allows devices to be use for long periods of time (up to 1 year depending on transmission rates).
  • Supports 6 frequencies (433 MHZ, 915 MHZ (default US & Canada), 868.3 MHZ (default Europe), 868 MHZ, 903 MHZ, 315 MHZ)
  • 10 channels per frequency.
