Description:

The new generation of M Series Sensors provides extended battery life and can be configured for the old RF2 Device ID or our newer RF4 4-character Device ID. This sensor tracks temperature and sends notifications when the contact opens or closes. You can monitor using phones and desktops. Receive alerts and automate tasks. AA batteries last for over a year. For optimal performance, use non-rechargeable batteries. The powerful transmitter can reach up to 1km in line of sight, even through walls and floors. Customizable transmit frequency is preconfigured to transmit a temperature reading every 5 minutes, or when the device status has changed. Ready-to-use temperature monitoring options are available. Compatible with popular IoT systems such as Blynk, Home Assistant, Adafruit IO, ThingsBoard, PrivateEyePi, MQTT, Amazon AWS IoT, and Google Cloud IoT. It's the perfect choice for interfacing with IoT systems.

Technical Specs:

  • A battery monitor to keep track of power consumption.
  • AA Housing with On/Off Switch
  • The Sensor is DS18B20 for high accuracy and repeatability.
  • Magnetic Door Sensor Normally Closed
  • All devices are based on the high-performance RF transceiver based on the market-leading CC1100 SOC.
  • Wide operating voltage range of 2-3.6V makes the devices suited for battery power.
  • Current consumption: RX: 16.2 mA , TX: 15.2 mA. Deep Sleep : 0.005Ma (0.5 µA).
  • Super low power consumption allows devices to be use for long periods of time (up to 1 year depending on transmission rates).
  • Up to 1KM line of sight. Short-range (30M) penetration of walls and floors.
  • 128-bit AES encryption security.
  • All the devices are highly configurable through the serial port or over the air using the LLAP messaging protocol specified in the manual.
  • The base station communicates through a serial port (TTL UART).
  • Communicates in ASCII clear text making it very easy to exchange data between devices over the air.
  • A virtually unlimited number of devices can be deployed. 99,999 Personal Area Network ID’s, 10 channels per frequency and 4,00 RF2 and 15M RF4 Device ID’s per network.
  • Supports 6 frequencies (433 MHZ, 915 MHZ (default US & Canada), 868.3 MHZ (default Europe), 868 MHZ, 903 MHZ, 315 MHZ)
  • 10 channels per frequency.
