The WIFI Waterproof Temperature Sensor Pro is a Wi-Fi-enabled device that connects directly to your Wi-Fi router and can send Temperature readings from up to 4 external sensors to the Monitoring Cloud Server or another monitoring application. It is fully assembled and requires no soldering. Connect it to power, and it will advertise itself as a wireless access point. Configure it through a web browser using its easy-to-use config application. Once configured, it will connect to your Wi-Fi network, providing it with access to the internet, the monitoring server, the MQTT broker, and remote data requests.
The Pro series supports both Secure and Non-Secure MQTT and Web services, enhanced control, custom configuration, and access control to settings. Supporting multiple MQTT data formats, including a Home Assistant-compatible format.
The Pro Series supports both Secure and Non-Secure MQTT and Web services, enhanced control, custom configuration, and access control to settings. MQTT messaging is compatible with Home Assistant applications, including the option for Auto MQTT Discovery, eliminating the need to manually add a JemRF sensor to your Home Assistant Dashboard. When connected to the Internet for more than 10 minutes, the local AP is disabled to eliminate an unused local WiFi Network. Uses the industry-standard USB-C connection for power,
The Pro Series provides a white-labeling feature that allows custom settings and an optional password to minimize accidental changes when installed at remote locations.
Features:
- Easy-to-configure web interface. No programming or soldering skills required. You do not need the internet to configure the device. Connect to it directly from any WiFi device (e.g., PC, phone, tablet).
- Cyclic temperature transmission mode with configurable send interval
- Supports both Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature readings
- A configurable temperature delta threshold allows the device to monitor temperature and transmit only when the current reading exceeds the previous reading by a specified amount. This feature is handy for saving battery power
- Powered by a USB-C cable or 4.9V DC to 7V DC input.
- Four External DS18B20 temperature sensors are used to detect temperature. Measure temperatures from -55°C to 125 °C. Farhenheit equivalent is -67°F to +257°F, ±0.5°C accuracy from -10°C to +85°C
-
**Note: The operating temperature for the WiFi Sensor housing is -30F to +125.6F, -34C to 52C.
- Although the sensor is highly accurate (±0.5°C accuracy), you can calibrate the temperature reading using a configuration in the WIFI sensor app
- The device supports dual-WIFI mode, allowing it to act as both a WIFI access point and a WIFI client simultaneously. A WiFi access point advertises its SSID and can be connected to by any device or computer with WiFi.
