WIFI Remote Switch Controller Kit- Internet Of Things (IoT)

This WIFI Remote Switch Controller connects directly to your WIFI access point, allowing you to independently control up to 8 switches from our PrivateEyePi server or another application. It comes fully assembled and requires no soldering. Connect it to power, and it will create its own wireless access point. You can configure it through a web browser using our easy-to-use configuration application. Once configured, the Control Relay connects to your WIFI network, enabling access to the internet and the PrivateEyePi server.

Features:

  • Easy-to-configure web interface. No programming or soldering skills required. Connect to it directly from any Wi-Fi device (e.g., PC, phone, tablet).
  • Control up to 8 relay switches through the 16-pin GPIO header
  • You can add temperature sensors to it (soldering required DS18B20 for only temperature or DHT22 for temperature and humidity - 2 GPIO pins are used if a temperature sensor is added). Alternatively, purchase a WI01 or WI02 and connect relay switches to one of those devices. Refer to WI01 or WI02 for temperature sensor features.
  • Powered either by USB Mini cable (4.5V DC to 7V DC input) or battery connection (2.5V to 3.5V) via the 2-pin battery connection plug
  • Fully programmable using the Arduino or LUA development environments 
  • The device supports dual Wi-Fi modes, allowing it to act as both a Wi-Fi access point and a Wi-Fi client at the same time. A Wi-Fi access point advertises itself through an SSID and can be connected to via any device or computer that has Wi-Fi.

Required, but not included:

  • Mini USB cable and power supply (older cell phones used mini USB, so you may already have one at the bottom of a drawer)
