The Smart Gateway is our latest product. It provides a wide range of operating options.

This Gateway receives messages from the Wireless RF sensors supporting both RF2 (2-character ID) and RF4 (4-character ID) and uses secure networking to send them to the JemRF Monitor servers.

The Smart Gateway features a built-in MQTT Agent that publishes sensor values to an MQTT Broker, supporting a wide range of custom applications.

A simple firmware update button will automatically download and install firmware updates. USB port for offline updates.

The Smart Gateway setup uses a similar internal WiFi configuration process for both the WiFi Gateway and WiFi Sensor devices.

  • It receives sensor readings and time tags and stores them to enable delayed sending if the connection to the server is lost. An example is on a transfer truck between facilities or remote locations.
  • Power pack for days of battery operation.
  • Connects to Wired Ethernet. (WiFi is a future option.)
  • Wired Ethernet has a POE option at 12 Watts.
  • Support secure message sending to Monitor.JemRF.com or a custom server.
  • It supports an MQTT client-to-broker connection to forward data to custom servers. MQTT data formats are text, JSON, and SparkPlugB V3.

  • Can be configured using Static IP or DHCP
  • Option for an internal battery-backed clock or use an NTP Server for time.
  • It can be configured and managed via an internal WEB interface, either wirelessly or via a wired connection.
  • It has a CSV data export option that exports data received by day.
  • Provides the option to convert Celsius to Fahrenheit.
  • Provides the option change the RF Receiver channel (0-9).
  • Status LEDs display the visual status of Power, Server Connection, and MQTT Connection.

Custom Option:

  • There is an option for a USB Cell Modem if required. Contact sales@jemrf.com for details.
